DESIGNED TO PERFECTION
INSTALLATION POSITIONING
Leave at least 65cm between the top of the gas hobs and any cabinet or
range hood above it. Leave at least a 5cm gap behind the appliance and
at least a 2cm gap to either side to allow heat to escape around the
appliance. Warning: Do not block any vents on the appliance.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Only a licensed professional may connect the appliance. The appliance
must be installed to the most recent IEE and local regulations. The
appliance could be damaged and create a health risk if incorrectly
connected. Make sure the voltage of the power supply corresponds to the
value on the rating label (inside storage flap). Make sure the power supply
is correctly earthed and that the wiring system in the building can withstand
the load (recommended 16A minimum). When routing the electrical cable,
take care that it does not get trapped or squashed, does not come in
contact with sharp edges and does not come in contact with parts that can
reach temperatures 50°C above room temperature.
Where the appliance is connected directly to the power supply, and all-pole isolating switch with a contact
gap is required. Complete disconnection in compliance with the conditions specified in overvoltage category
III must be guaranteed. The earth cable is excluded from this requirement.
GAS CONNECTION
The appliance must be connected in accordance with the currently applicable
regulations. Before installation, check that the local conditions (gas type and pressure)
are compatible with the appliance settings which are recorded on the rating label
(inside storage flap). Connection to the gas lines and seal fitting must be carried out by
a licensed professional.
The gas connection is located at the rear left of the appliance.
If you connect the appliance to liquefied gas, you must always install a suitable gas
pressure regulator. Use the total gas consumption of the appliance stated on the rating
plate to select a suitable gas pressure regulator. Only use connecting lines or flexible
hoses which comply with the applicable regulations and which are approved for this
purpose. The procedure is as follows:
a)
Screw the corrugated tube union (C) and the seal (B) to the gas connection (A).
b)
Hold the corrugated tube union (C) in place with a spanner and screw the
connecting piece to a flexible gas connecting hose (E).
c)
Tighten the clamp (D). Only use approved sealing compound to seal the thread.
When using flexible hoses,
make sure that they do not
get trapped or squashed,
they are not subject to
twisting or pulling, they do
not come in contact with
sharp edges and do not
come in contact with arts
that could reach a
temperature 70°C above
room temperature. Ensure
the whole length of hose
is accessible for
inspection.
