     DESIGNED TO PERFECTION

INSTALLATION

LOCAL AUTHORITY REQUIREMENTS

Installation is only permitted by an authorised person, and carried out according to instructions
provided by the manufacturer.  Incorrect installation might cause harm and damage which the

manufacturer accepts no responsibility.

BEFORE INSTALLATION

Read the following information about the appliance and the guidelines for ventilation. When unpacking the
appliance, check for any damage. If any damage is found, do not connect the appliance and contact your
service provider. Dispose of packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

GUIDELINES FOR VENTILATION

This appliance may only be set up in a room with sufficient ventilation and according to the applicable
regulations and ventilation requirements. Make sure that there is good air flow, keeping natural air

ventilation through a window or door, or by installing a range hood to extract the air. If the ventilation is not
adequate it may cause a lack of oxygen and build-up of waste gases, which can be a health hazard and
affect the efficiency of the gas hobs. When using the appliance for long periods of time extra ventilation will
be necessary to increase air flow.

INSTALLATION OF ADJUSTABLE FEET AND SPLASHGUARD

This appliance is supplied with a set of adjustable feet and a splashguard.

To fit the adjustable feet, first remove all parts that are not permanently fixed (trivets, gas burners, internal
shelves etc). One person should tilt the appliance slightly and a second person should screw the 4 feet into
each corner. When all four are fitted, the feet should be roughly adjusted to level the appliance at the correct
height (leave at the lowest level if the appliance needs to be pushed into position) and final adjustments
should be made at the end of the installation process. The splashguard is optional and can be removed or

fitted depending on the installation.

ANTI-TILT BRACKET

The appliance is supplied with an anti-tilt
bracket, which is a means of stabilising the
appliance and prevent it from accidentally
tilting forward. Use the supplied screw and

plug (2) and attach the anti-tilt bracket (1) to
the floor as per the diagram to the right
(A=50mm, B=50mm).
When the appliance is placed in its final

position, the anti-tilt bracket should fit over
the support screw under the appliance to the
right hand side, preventing the appliance
from tipping forward.
