4.4.5.3.1 Trim
Control
The elevator trim tab control lever is located between the seats (provided
the airplane is not fitted with an electric trim system controlled with buttons
on control stick). Moving the trim lever forward trims the airplane Nose
down, moving it rearward trim the airplane Nose up. The trim lever neutral
position coincides approximately with the Takeoff position of wing flap
control lever. i.e. if you set the flap lever to takeoff position and set the trim
lever to same position than the airplane is trimmed for takeoff. You do not
need to precisely set the trim control lever position. Even with improper
setting of trim the control stick forces are easily manageable.
