Cleaning the exhaust air
fi
lter
The HEPA
fi
lter may lose some of its colour over time. This is normal and does
not have any adverse effect on function.
1. The exhaust air
fi
lter is a HEPA
fi
lter and sits in the rear
part of the vacuum cleaner. Open the
fl
ap at the rear sec-
tion of the vacuum cleaner by pulling the release button
back and lifting the
fl
ap.
2. Remove the HEPA
fi
lter by pushing the catch inwards and
pulling the HEPA
fi
lter up and out of the device. Clean
the HEPA
fi
lter under clear running water. Then allow the
HEPA
fi
lter to dry. CAUTION: Do not under any circum-
stances clean the
fi
lter in a washing machine or dish-
washer! Then shake off any excess water and let the
fi
lter
dry completely in the air before you insert the
fi
lter again.
3. Once the HEPA
fi
lter has dried completely, you can re-
insert it. Make sure that you insert the two catches in the
intended openings
fi
rst and that you push the HEPA
fi
lter
down then. It must audibly lock into place. Then you can
close the
fl
ap again.
