Adjusting the exhaust air valve
The handle has an exhaust air valve with which you can
quickly reduce the suction force.
• Normally the exhaust air valve should be closed so
that the suction force is not unnecessarily reduced.
• Open the exhaust air valve when cleaning curtains,
rugs or other light, mobile items.
Cleaning the device
PLEASE NOTE!
❐
Always remove the mains plug from the plug socket before doing any cleaning of
the device.
❐
Keep the device, the cable and the mains plug away from water or other liquids in
order to avoid electric shocks. Make sure that no liquid gets into the device during
cleaning. Only the HEPA
fi
lter and the motor
fi
lter may be cleaned with water. How-
ever, they must be completely dry before they are put back into the device.
❐
The
fi
lters are not machine-washable, dishwasher-safe or suitable for tumble drying!
Only ever dry the
fi
lters in the air, and never use a hair dryer to do so.
❐
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These could damage the surfaces.
• Clean the HEPA
fi
lter regularly or if you notice a decrease in the suction power.
• Clean the housing if necessary using a damp, soft cloth. Dry it with a soft cloth.
• Remove hair and
fl
uff from the nozzles at regular intervals.
Emptying the dust bag
1. Pull the plug out of the socket and remove the suction hose by
turning counter-
clockwise and pulling out the suction hose.
2. Open the dust bag container by pulling the release button.
