fuse protection. The steady state current absorbed by the
controller is nominal, the external fuse is determined chiefly by
considering the contactor holding VA and the controller cooling

Connect the motor field (-) to terminal D3 and field (+)
to terminal D4. If the motor has no field connections, is
a permanent magnet motor, or if the field is derived externally,
you must override the field failure circuit using the MMI. If the
controller is correctly specified (Product Code), then the
external field option will be provided and the field failure
alarm will be overridden automatically at power-up.
