Equipment installation (Omnia® Terra – Omnia® Studio)
Safety warnings
WARNING:
These tasks must be carried out by specialised and authorised
operators, who shall ensure that all unauthorised personnel or
persons, potentially exposed to danger, maintain a safe distance from
the installation area.
Before proceeding, make sure that the line voltage corresponds to the
one that appears in paragraph 2.1 "Technical data/characteristics".
WARNING
:
An assembly process that have been incorrectly executed can
compromise the proper functioning of the equipment and cause
damages to objects or persons.
Number of

For the equipment transport are needed two installers.
For the equipment installation is needed just one installer.

Steps
Tasks

Remove the machine and all the attached material from the packaging, placing it on the floor
by the cables connections.
WARNING:
Make Sure that there are no persons or objects in the positioning area, in order
to avoid damages or inconveniences. Pay attention to the machine base: there
are wheels that allow the movement but, at the same time, they can unbalance
the machine in case of extra movements.

If present, connect the wall commands / home automation system to the base of the machine,
following the scheme shown in paragraph 4.2.3.

Connect the equipment to your AC power supply and test the correct functioning. From the
outside, connect the audio-visual TV cables and the Ethernet network (if available) to the
equipment.
WARNING:
Make sure that the power grid is not active during the power cables connection
phase.
