12. STORAGE OF THE EQUIPMENT 

In case that the equipment is not going to be used for a long time, it is recommended 

to store it according to the following instructions:  

  Disconnect the equipment of any power source. 

  Empty the tank. 

  Clean  the  tank  completely  and  remove  any  waste  or  sediment  that  can  remain 

inside. 

  Cover the equipment with a waterproof package.

 

 

13. WITHDRAWAL OF THE EQUIPMENT 

Once the useful life of the equipment has ended, some basic rules have to be followed 

to withdraw and cancel it in an environmentally friendly way. 

Packages, flexible pipes, plastic and non-metallic components must be disassembled 

and removed separately.  

14. INSPECTIONS AND REGULAR TESTS 

According  to  the  current  regulations  regarding  pressure  equipment  on  the  date  of 

manufacture, the machine must be subjected to an internal and external visual inspection and 
a pressure test at least every 10 years.  

Tests  and  inspections  shall  be  carried  out  as  indicated  by  the  specific  regulation  of 

pressure equipment in the country where it is used.  

The equipment must be cleaned internally by the user annually. 

The safety valve shall be subjected to at least one review each year and it has to be 

carried out by the user.   

However,  as  noted  above,  it  is  the  responsibility  of  the  user  to  be  aware  of  the 

regulations  in  force  regarding  pressure  equipment  during  its  useful  life  and  to  carry  out  the 
inspection and periodic regulatory tests established therein.
