11. TROUBLESHOOTING 

 

ANOMALY 

POSSIBLE CAUSE 

CHECKING POINTS 

SOLUTION 

I.  Air does not come 

out of the nozzle 

A) The compressor is not 

connected or turned off 

Feed air compressor 

Connect  the  compressor  to  the 
sandblaster and start it 

B) Blocked nozzle 

Nozzle 

Disassemble  the  nozzle  from  the 
gun  and  blow  through  it  to  remove 
the obstruction 

C) Sand flow rate regulator 

too open 

Product outlet regulator 

Close  the  regulator  until  you  reach 
the appropriate opening level. Blow 
the hose and the nozzle 

D) Excessive granulometry of 

the used abrasive 

Abrasive 

Empty  the  tank  and  fill  it  with  the 
suitable  size  abrasive.  Blow  the 
hoses to remove residual abrasive 

E) Blocked product hose 

Product hose 

Disassemble the product hose and 
clean it 

F) The three-way valve 

located on the regulation 
box does not work

Replace it 

G) The gun valve does not
