INSERTING/REPLACING THE BATTERY/RECHARGE-
ABLE BATTERY

Open the battery compartment on the rear of the housing and insert one batteries
of type AAA/Micro with the correct polarity. The correct polarity is indicated in the
battery compartment.

After inserting the battery, the device operates again.

Close the battery compartment.

The battery must be replaced, if the contrast on the display fades or the display does
no longer functions.

Rechargeable batteries can be used. The lower operating voltage (recharge-

able battery = 1.2 V, battery 1.5 V) and lower capacity, however, will reduce
the operating time.

OPERATION

The sensors for the indoor thermometer and the hygrometer are located in-

side the housing and thus display the values for the interior of the housing.

Therefore, to obtain more accurate measured values do not hold the device
in your hand or stand/hang it near a heat source, instead stand/hang it in an
open area.

The measurement display needs about 15 to 30 minutes to stabilise and
show accurate values.

-

In normal mode, the display shows the actual values for the indoor and outdoor

temperatures as well as the indoor air humidity.

-

Press the MAX (1) button once to get the maximum values.

-

Press the MIN (2) button once to get the minimum values.

-

Push the corresponding button again to return to the current values.

-

While in the display for the maximum or minimum value, press the RESET key (3)

to delete the data saved for the corresponding display and start recording again.

-

Press the °C/°F key (4) to change the display unit for the temperature values.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled
for any reason.

Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.

Do not use any chemical cleaning agents, as they can discolour the plastic casing.

rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!

Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these sym-

bols to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The sym-
bols for the relevant heavy metals are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead
(marked on batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. under the rubbish bin
symbol shown to the left).

You can dispose of your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of

charge at your community’s collection point or any place where batteries/
rechargeable batteries are sold!

You thereby fulfi l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
