STARTING DCF SIGNAL DETECTION MANUALLY
Use this function if, for instance, the automatic summer/winter time conver-
sion was not detected or the radio-controlled alarm clock has not received
the DCF signal for a while.
The previously received DCF data is not deleted and the time resets itself to
the time shown previously, if the signal detection fails.
To perform a manual search for the DCF signal, press the REC button for 3 seconds.
The hands run to the receiving position (12:00) and the radio-controlled alarm clock
tries to detect the DCF signal.
Wait for about 2-5 minutes, until the current time is indicated.
RESETTING THE CLOCK
Use this function if the radio-controlled alarm clock no longer responds to
keystrokes or in the event of other malfunctions.
In this case, all of the previously received DCF data is deleted.
To reset the radio-controlled alarm clock, press the RESET button with a sharp
object (e.g. a pen).
The hands run to the receiving position (12:00) and the radio-controlled alarm clock
tries to detect the DCF signal.
Wait for about 2-5 minutes, until the current time is indicated.
ALARM FUNCTION
a) Setting the alarm
-
The alarm time is indicated on the clock face by a small clock hand.
-
Turn the adjustment knob on the case’s rear in the direction of the arrow, until
the desired alarm time is shown on the clock face.
Turn the adjustment knob only in the direction of the arrow; otherwise, the
alarm time will not be set precisely.
b) Activating/deactivating the alarm function
Move the sliding switch on the back of the case to the desired position:
ON
Alarm function activated
OFF
Alarm function deactivated
c) Stopping the alarm signal & snooze function
A crescendo alarm sounds at the set alarm time. This is an alarm sound; its signal
frequency increases progressively to allow you to wake up gently. If the alarm signal
is not stopped, it stops automatically after approximately 2 minutes.
The signal can be interrupted for approx. 5 minutes by pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT
button on the top of the case. After this, the signal will restart (snooze function).
This process can be repeated 3 times.
To switch the alarm function off, move the sliding switch on the back of the case to
the OFF position.
ILLUMINATION
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the case to turn on the clock face
light for a few seconds.
TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
The room temperature is indicated on the 6:00-position of the display.
LOCATION FOR USE
Select a level, fl at and stable location for use. Protect valuable furniture surfaces by
using an appropriate underlay; otherwise, it may cause scratches.
Set up the radio-controlled alarm clock to prevent it from falling.
To ensure correct DCF reception, the radio-controlled alarm clock should not be
placed next to electronic devices, cables, metal parts, etc.
In order for the radio alarm clock to display the correct temperature, do not place it
near heat sources and do not expose it to direct sunlight.

The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled
for any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
