OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect the charger plug to the charging jack or
hole on the back of the sweeper. Plug the
charging adapter into the wall outlet.
(120V., 60Hz.) Use only
K-TEC charger
KA12D075015023U . (Fig. 3)
2. This cordless sweeper is powered by
Ni-Cd batteries. Before first use, they must
be charged for a minimum 20 hours.
3. When recharging the unit, the "On/Off" switch
must be in the "OFF" position.
4. The charging light indicator on the top of the sweeper will illuminate to indicate
that the sweeper is properly charging.
5. To recharge, repeat step #1 above. Charging times will vary depending upon the
amount of usage between charging cycles.
NOTE:
If, when you place the sweeper to recharge and the charging indicator light
does NOT illuminate, then press the On/Off button once to turn the sweeper off. The
charging indicator light should now light up.
NOTE:
Peak performance may only be realized after the unit has been charged and
discharged two (2) or three (3) times.
IMPORTANT:
To maintain peak performance of your cordless sweeper, it is
recommended that the unit be fully discharged, then completely re-charged at least
once a month.
CAUTION:
Use only the adaptor supplied with the sweeper
CAUTION:
Do not clean the sweeper while unit is charging.
CAUTION:
• Use only with the battery pack supplied with the unit.
• Do not attempt to remove the battery pack from the unit to charge it.
• Never attempt to throw the battery pack or unit into a fire or incinerate it.
• Do not attempt to remove or damage the battery casing.
• Battery must be recycled or disposed of properly at the end of its service life.
TO MAXIMIZE THE LIFE OF YOUR NI-CD BATTERIES
1. Charge for a minimum of 20 hours before initial use. Failure to do so will reduce
the product’s battery life significantly.
2. Do not store the unit with the charging adaptor attached and plugged in.
3. Only recharge when the batteries are fully discharged (or as close to fully
discharged as possible).
4. Do not store in areas of high temperature or humidity.
5. After three (3) months of storage, the product should be fully discharged and then
recharged to maximize battery power.
6. Use only the charger supplied with the product. If other chargers are used, the
batteries can fail causing damage to the battery, product or personal property.
7. Ni-Cd batteries have a long useful life but as some time they will need to be
replaced. To purchase replacement batteries and parts visit www.sharvac.com.
NOTE
: If the product has never been used or has been stored for an extended period
of time without use – it will take several complete charge and discharge cycles to
realize the full operational time of your product.

REMARQUE :
Si vous placez la bal ay euse sur le charg eur et que le té moin NE
S’A LLUME PA S , appuye z sur le bouton On/ Off une fois pour éteindr e la balaye use. Le
témoin de char gement devra it alors s’al lumer.
REMARQUE :
Un rendeme nt optimal ne p ourra être attei nt qu’apr ès deux (2) o u trois
(3) chargement s et déchargements.
IMPORTANT:
Pour assurer un rendem ent optimal de votre balay eu se sans fil, il est
conseillé de la déchar ger entiè rement pour en suite la rech arger entièr eme nt, au moins
une fois par mo is.

• La pile doit être recy clée o u j etée selo n les normes un e fois sa vie utile terminée.
AFIN DE MAXIMISE R LA DURÉ E DE VIE UTIL E DE VO S PILE S NI-CAD
1. Charge z les pile s pendant au moins 20 heur es avant leur p remière uti lisation. Sinon,
vous réduirez l a durée d e vie des pile s de façon importa nte.
2. Ne rangez pas l’appare il avec son adaptateur de chargemen t attachée t branché.
3. Ne rechargez l es piles q ue lors qu’elles so nt complètement déchar gées (ou le plus
déchargées p ossible).
4. Ne rangez pas l’appare il dans un endr oit humide ou à temp érature élev ée.
5. Après 3 mois de rangement, l’ appareil d oit être entièrement déchar géet re chargéafi n
de maximis er l a puissa nce des piles.
6. N’utilisez qu e le chargeur four ni avec cet app areil. L’empl oi d’un a utre char geur
pourraient entr aîner un défa ut des piles p ouvant entraîner d es dommag es au x pile s,
àl’ap pareil ou àla propr iété.
7. Les pile s Ni-cad ont une long ue durée de vie utile. Cepe ndant, il arrive q u’el les
doivent être remplacé es. Pour vous procur er des pile s de remplac ement, visitez
