STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
WARNING!
Risk of injury. Always switch the appliance off and remove the battery pack before storage
and transportation.
Storage
1. Switch the appliance off and remove the battery pack.
2. Always allow the appliance to cool down.
3. Clean the appliance as described.
4. Store the appliance and its accessories in a dark, dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place.
5. Always store the appliance in a place that is inaccessible to children.
6. During a longer storage period, check the state of charge of the battery and recharge if
necessary roughly every 3 months.
7. We recommend using the original package for storage or covering the product with a
suitable cloth or enclosure to protect it against dust.
8. Regularly check the charge level of the battery pack, if it is to be stored for an extended
period. Optimum storage conditions are cool and dry.
9. Always put on the blade cover when storage.
Transportation
1. Switch the appliance off and remove the battery pack.
2. Always carry the appliance by its handle.
3. Protect the appliance from any heavy impact or strong vibrations which may occur
during transportation in vehicles.
4. Secure the appliance to prevent it from slipping or falling over.
5. Always put on the blade cover when transportation.
