Press on the battery charge level button (9) on the battery pack (8). You can read the
battery status from the battery level indication (LED) (10).
Attaching/Releasing the shoulder strap
WARNING!
1. Hook the shoulder trap (18) into the carrying hole (4).
2. Note the fact one hand is on the padding handle (3) and the other hand is on the rear
handle (7)
3. Adjust the length of the shoulder strap (18) to your size so that carrying hole (4) is at
hip height when hooked in place.(Fig. D)
4. In addition, you can adjust the position of the carrying hole at the telescopic handle by
undoing the hexagon socket head screw with the hex key (20). And afterward ensure the
hexagon socket head screws are tighten.
5. For releasing the shoulder strap (18) from the hedge trimmer, only press the hook which
is attached to the carrying hole with one hand.
OPERATION
Note Comply with regulations regarding noise protection and local rules. Using the
appliance on certain days (e.g. on Sundays and public holidays) during certain times (midday
period night time) or in certain locations (e.g. health resorts, clinics, etc.) may be restricted
or prohibited.
Switching on and off
Note: before using the hedge trimmer, the blade cover (19) has to be removed from the
cutter bar.
Switch ON
1. Press the safety lock-out (5), keep it pressed and then press the ON/OFF switch (6).
2. You may release the safety lock-out (5) now.
Switch OFF
Release the ON/OFF switch (6) to switch off.
Adjusting the telescopic handle (Fig. E)
The telescopic handle (1) can be adjusted by means of the quick release (2)
1. Push the quick release (2) according to the arrow direction;
2. Loosen the quick release (2) by pulling it upwards;
3. Adjust the length by pushing or pulling as required.
4. Close the quick release (2) by pulling it back down.
5. Close the quick release (2) again, thereby fixing the desired working length of the
telescopic handle (1).
