Specific safety warnings for pole hedge trimmer

Children may never use the hedge trimmer

Do not use the hedge trimmer while anyone especially children is in the vicinity.

Wear appropriate clothing when operating! Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery which
could get caught in moving parts. Wearing heavy-duty gloves, non-slip footwear and
goggles.

Wear hearing protection and safety goggles.
■
Always check the hedges and bushes for foreign objects, and keep away from the foreign
objects. If the cutting unit comes in contact with a foreign object, stop the motor and
allow the hedge trimmer to come to a standstill.

Always hold the hedge trimmer firmly and properly with two hands, rear handle and
padding handle, when operating.

The hedge trimmer is only intended to be used at ground, do not use it on the ladders or
any other unstable support.

Before operating the hedge trimmer, always check and make sure the locking devices of
the moving elements (extended shaft pivoting element) are in the locked position.

Only use the provided shoulder strap, and not wear multiple should harnesses.

Adjust the shoulder strap to the comfortable length before operating.

To stop the hedge trimmer in an emergency situation, pull the battery off.

Always make sure the hedge trimmer is in the proper working position before the more
