Sawing off small branches

Saw small branches (Ø 0–8 cm) from the top down (see Fig.4).
Sawing off larger branches

When sawing larger branches (Ø 8–20 cm), first make a relief cut

Long or thick branches should be shortened before making the final cut (see Fig.6).
Working safely
• Keep the appliance, the cutting mechanism and the transport guard

• If the appliance has been dropped, check for significant damage or defects.
• Maintain the specified angle 60°±10° to ensure safe working (see Fig.8).
• Do not use the appliance while standing on a ladder or with unsteady footing.
