5.1.6 Firmware Update
The hand-held pendant station is equipped with a flash
program memory. This enables the firmware to be changed
or updated. For this purpose the free of charge software
"Flash Magic" V1.66 is required (see also www.euchner.de).
Proceed as follows:
1. The HBAS is to be connected to the serial interface on the computer using
an RS422-RS232 interface converter and connected to the DC 24V power supply.
2. To load a new version of the firmware onto the
HBAS, the hand-held pendant station must be
placed in the programming mode.
For this purpose, Firmware Update is selected
in the Configuration (Konfiguration) menu.
