Figure 14
below shows the Basic Parameters. Users do not need to be logged in to view this page. Without logging
in, only the Front Panel Intensity slider may be changed.
(47) Gamma
– This parameter control panel sets the degree of ACR offset contribution; the value of zero for a given
axis denotes zero ACR component. Enter the new value and click on “Gamma” to apply the change.
(48) Output Gain
– The Output Gain can be controlled for each channel by dragging the slider to the required gain
or by clicking on the bar at the required gain. Changes are applied immediately. A warning will pop up if a gain higher
than +60db is requested.
(49) Trip Levels
– The axial interfering magnetic field Trip Levels can be controlled for each channel by dragging
the slider to the required level or by clicking on the bar at the required level. Changes are applied immediately.
Persistent field values over the Trip Level threshold in any axis will cause the system to go to an
OVERLEVEL
Trip
condition and shut down after a programmed number of reset attempts.
(50) Front Panel Intensity
– The illumination level for the Graphics Display and LEDs on the Front Panel may be
controlled using this slider. This same slider can be found on the Trace Page (see
Figure 11, (40) in Section 4.2.1
).
(51) Polarity
– An axial Output can be inverted by changing the channel Polarity, so that the overall feedback loop
can be made negative, regardless of coil set polarity. The channel’s gain must be set to 4db or less before changing
the polarity. If the gain for a channel is set higher than 4db when the user attempts to change the polarity, a Warning
message will pop up, as shown in
Figure 15
below.
Reduce the gain to 4db or less, then change the polarity and then you can restore the gain to its prior level.
