Please read the chapter ‘Before first use’ very carefully before you start cooking.
This prevents incorrect use of the hob.
Switching on and power setting
Make sure the bottom of the pan and the surface of the cooking zone are clean and dry.
1. Place a pan in the middle of a cooking zone.
2. Touch the on/off key for about 1 second until you hear an audio signal.

On all cooking zone displays a ‘0’ appears.
3. Touch the selection key of the desired cooking zone.

The display of the selected cooking zone remains brightly lit; the cooking zone remains
active for 5 seconds to make a setting or select a function.

The other displays become less bright.
4. Use the slide control to set the desired setting.

The cooking zone starts automatically at the level that has been set.
▷
All displays are brightly lit again.
▷
Set a higher or lower power by selecting the cooking zone with the selection key and
using the slide control.
The hob switches off if no setting is made or a function is selected within 10 seconds.
‘Low range’ function
With the ‘Low range’ function you can set 9 more power levels in smaller increments. The levels
in ‘Low range’ are used for low or medium temperature cooking. Experimenting with this will help
you find the perfect setting to suit your cooking.
