› ETHERMA designed infrared heaters comply with the relevant
safety regulations.
› Installation and initial start-up, as well as repairs and service
work, may only be carried out by a licensed specialist or quali-
fied person in compliance with all safety regulations. This person
must examine beforehand whether the electrical system in
the house corresponds with the current standards. The res-
ponsibility of the manufacturer is limited to the delivery of the
device.
› The country-specific safety regulations must be observed.
› Local protective measures must be observed.
› The devices are suitable for wall and ceiling mounting.
› When installing the unit in bathrooms, the protective areas ac-
cording to DIN VDE 0100 Part 701 must be observed.
› Specified minimum distances must be observed.
NOTE
For ceiling mounting, the device must be installed at least 1.8 m
above the floor.
NOTE
In bathrooms, the appliance must be installed so that switches and
other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or show-
er.
NOTE
Due to the low surface temperature on the rear side, the infrared
heater may also be installed on wooden ceilings.
NOTE
The device is not intended for use in cloakrooms and under church
pews.

INSTALLATION AND MINIMUM DISTANCE:
Specially designed infrared heaters must be installed so that
flammable objects cannot be ignited. The minimum distance, in
particular to easily flammable objects such as curtains, upholste-
red furniture, etc., must not be passed under. Please make sure that
the infrared heating can radiate freely into the room.
