This manual provides important information on the safety, instal-
lation, use and maintenance of the equipment. Please read the in-
formation contained in this manual carefully and keep it for future
reference.
The manufacturer is not liable if the following instruc-
tions are not followed. The devices must not be mi-
sused, i.e. used contrary to their intended purpose
.
The packaging of your high-quality infrared heating system con-
sists of recyclable materials.
This infrared heater is not intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
Unless you are supervised by a person responsible for your safety
or have received instructions from him/her on how to use the de-
vice. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Overheating or overload protection
Every infrared heater has an overheating protection that triggers in
case of overheating. The unit will automatically resume operation
only after cooling down to below 45 °C.
This manual must
› be handed over to the operator after installation.
In addition, the operator must be instructed in the operation of
the infrared heater.
› It must be carefully stored and handed over to the new owner
in case of change of ownership.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years
and older and by persons with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental capabilities or lack of experience and know-
ledge if they are supervised or instructed regarding the
safe use of the appliance and understand the dangers involved.
Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user main-
tenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
The infrared heater must not be used if the surface is damaged. To
avoid overheating of the device, the infrared heater must not be
covered by anything. Children younger than 3 years of age must
be kept away unless they are under constant supervision. Child-
ren from 3 years of age and younger than 8 years of age may only
switch the appliance on and off if they are supervised or have been
instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood
the resulting dangers, provided that the appliance is placed or in-
stalled in its intended position of use. Children from 3 years of age
and younger than 8 years of age must not plug the appliance into
the power outlet, regulate the appliance, clean the appliance and/
or carry out maintenance.
The device may only be put into operation when assembled
. This infrared heater must not be used in the immediate vicinity
of a bathtub, shower or swimming pool. When installed in ba-
throoms, the appliance must be installed so that switches and
other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or show-
er. The infrared heater must not be used in small rooms inhabited
by people who cannot leave the room on their own, unless cons-
tant supervision is ensured.
Some parts of the product can become very hot and can cause
burns. Special caution is required when children and vulnerable
persons are present.
