• If you drive the mower out of the lawn, stop the engine or the blade.

• These precautions are indispensable for your safety. The recom-

mendations given are not exhaustive however. Use your mower 

judiciously at all times. 

• By loading and unloading of the machine it is recommended to use 

ramps or to ask help for the loading operation.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

• Always maintain the machine and accessories in perfect working condi-

tion.

• Replace worn or damaged parts for greater safety.

• Cleaning or servicing the mower should not be started before having 

stopped the engine and removed the security key.

• To prevent the engine from starting accidentally, remove the security 

key during servicing operations.

• The spare blades must only be fitted on machines for which they are 

designed, in accordance with the instructions.

• The use of counterfeit parts or poor maintenance can alter the perfor-

mance of your product, or present a danger to you and other people.

Use only original parts and follow the maintenance schedule.

RESPONSABILITY

• In the event of any use not in accordance with the relevant instruction 

booklet, ETESIA can accept no liability. 

Do not dump your grass clippings in unauthorized areas.

• You must not make any modifications to the mower without the prior 

approval of ETESIA. 

• Any modification not authorized by ETESIA could render the ma-

chine dangerous and lead to serious injury during use. ETESIA shall 

accept no responsibility if these instructions are not followed.

IDENTIFICATION OF THE MOWER

• The serial number of your mower is on the identification label on your 

mower.

• Always give this number to your dealer for all servicing on your mower.

• You will only be ready to use this mower after you read the safety 

instructions. Read completely this manual for the using and the ser-

vicing of the mower.

BEFORE STARTING THE MOTOR

• Read all the usage and maintenance instructions of the battery-powe-

red mower. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious 

or even fatal injuries.

• Obtain good understanding of the risks associated with the use of the 

machine, injuries potentially caused by these risks, and precautions to 

take in order to avoid them.

• To ensure a long service life for your motor, perform maintenance and 

appropriate care indicated in this manual.

• Always keep this manual at hand so you can refer to it any time you 

need information.

WARNINGS

• Do not insert a damaged battery pack into the charger  Always replace 

it with a new one. 

• Do not use any charger other than the one provided specifically for 

use with the device.

• Warning! The charger should not be used to recharge nonrecharge-

able batteries.

• Do not short-circuit a battery pack terminal. Do not connect these 

negative and positive terminals using a metallic object.  

• Regard the plus [+] and minus [-] marks on the battery and the device 

and ensure that they are correctly used.

• Do not connect two chargers together. 

• Do not insert driver materials in the charger.  

• Do not cover the charger ventilation slots ; keep the latter clear.  So do 

not place the charger on a soft surface (blanket, pillow, etc.) 

• Do not allow any metallic or other such elements (steel wool, alumi-

num foil etc.) enter the charger. 

• Do  not  expose  the  batteries  and  the  charger  to  heat  or  fire. Avoid 

storage under direct sunlight.

• Rechargeable battery and charger should not be exposed to moisture 

and water penetration.

• Do not wash the rechargeable battery and the charger. Brush them as 

needed and wipe them with a dry rag.

• The charger is only intended for indoor use. Do not expose to rain.
• Store the rechargeable battery and the charger in a cool and dry place 

where they are not likely to be damaged. When not in use, charge the 

battery for 2 hours every 2 months. 

• In the case of overheating , wait until the battery pack and the charger 

have cooled down before use. Only charge up to room temperature. 

• Check that the voltage and output current of the charger match the 

battery to be charged. 

• Keep the battery and the charger out of reach of children.
• Do not expose the rechargeable battery and the charger to shocks. Do 

not solder the storage cells and do not pierce them with a nail or other 

sharp object.

• In the event of a cell leak, be careful not to allow the liquid to come 

into contact with the skin or eyes. If this is the case, wash the affected 

area with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

• Do not try to repair a damaged battery. Dispose of it and replace it 

with a new battery pack. To avoid injury, fire, explosion and environ-

mental damage, protect the battery terminals with thick adhesive tape. 

Do not attempt to open the battery pack, and thereafter, disassemble 

or destroy the battery cells. 

• Regularly examine the battery charger, especially the cables, plugs 

and the casing for detecting any kind of damage. If the battery char-

ger is damaged, it should not be used. It must be replaced by the 

manufacturer or other approved person to prevent any risk. 

• Do not dispose of used batteries and chargers with household waste.
