8•3 OIL LEVEL CHECK
Read the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
WARNING!
Switch off the engine and allow to cool. The machine must be protected against accidental starting.
IMPORTANT!
If the engine runs with an insufficient quantity of oil, this can cause serious damage. Only oils recommended by the
manufacturer should be used. The machine must be stood on a flat surface.

Never use the engine without the air filter. Without an air filter, the engine will be damaged.

8• MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
1)
Oil filler cap on Honda GX engine.
2)
Oil level check:
-
Remove the oil filler cap and check the oil level. See
illustration.
- If the oil level is low, top up with recommended oil.
1)
Unscrew the butterfly nut.
2) Remove the cap.
