6•7•2 FITTING SCARIFYING UNITS
CAUTION!
There is a danger of pinching.
CAUTION!
The scarifier must only be used when the safety devices are fitted.
WARNING!
If grass remains accumulate, the protection may open.
6• PUTTING INTO SERVICE
1) Insert the scarifying unit in the housing.
2)
Fitting instructions:
Make sure the pin seats properly
into its housing.
3) Raise the scarifying unit and hang it on the hook.
4) Now lower the locking until the locking device has
acted.
5) Lower the locking device.
7)
Replace the scarifier on its wheels and fit the trape
-
zoidal belt.
8)
Finally, fit and lock into place the trapezoidal belt
protection.
6) Locked scarifying unit.
