WINDOWS
: right-click on the USB icon in the bottom right (system tray) of your computer
screen and a box with the message, “Safely Remove Hardware” will appear. Click on the
“Safely Remove Hardware” message and your computer will indicate that it is OK to
remove the device.

MAC:
right-
click on the icon that appears on the screen or in the “Finder” menu to
“EJECT” the unit. The unit can be safely be removed.
