Application Services Page

The Application Services page allows the administrator to stop and start the respective services
running on the VG-5000. The VG-5000 utilizes Twisted Pair Solutions’ WAVE Engine technology,
a compact Asterisk SIP PBX, and a system application. The option for the administrator to “reboot”
the server is also displayed. See Figure 18.

Application Service – Click this button to stop or start the main application service.

•

Voice Service – Click this button to stop or start the Asterisk SIP service.

•

WAVE Engine – Click this button to stop or start the WAVE Engine service.

•

Reboot System – Click this button to reboot the VG-5000 gateway.

NOTE: Should the administrator need to stop the services, stop them in the following order:

1.

Application Service

2.

Voice Service

3.

WAVE Engine

4.

Restart in the reverse order.
