Configuring the CAN interfaces
The CAN interfaces of the ES922.1 module can be configured independently of
each other:
• CAN High-Speed or
• CAN
Start up the ES910.3-A web interface:
1. Connect the ES910.3-A to the PC.
2. Start up the HSP program on the PC.
3. Click on
Search For Hardware
.
4. In the "Hardware" window, mark the input of the ES910.3-A
module to be configured.
5. Right-click to select
System Configuration
.
The default web browser opens the web interface for configur
-
ing the ES910.3-A with the module's current IP address in the
address field.
The home page of the ES910.3-A web interface is then dis
-
played.
Configure the CAN interfaces for the ES922.1:
1. Click on
Device Configuration
.
2. Click on
Port Settings
.
The page for configuring the interfaces of the extension mod
-
ule ES922.1 is displayed.
3. Select the operating mode for each CAN interface of the
ES922.1:
i. Select "High Speed (CAN FD qualified)".
The CAN interface will be operated in the "CAN FD/High-
Speed CAN" operating mode.
or
ii. Select "Low Speed/Fault Tolerant".
The CAN interface will be operated in the "Low-Speed CAN"
operating mode.
4. Click on
Save Config
.
The CAN interface configuration is saved.
Configuring the "Wake-Up" function of the ES922.1 module
The "Wake-Up" function can be configured for each of the CAN interfaces sep
-
arately.
Start up the ES910.3-A web interface:
1. Connect the ES910.3-A to the PC.
2. Start up the HSP program on the PC.
3. Click on
Search For Hardware
.
4. In the "Hardware" window, mark the input of the ES910.3-A
module to be configured.
