The Etan Sky-Flyer trampoline is designed and manufactured with an eye on years of fun when maintained
properly. It is important to check the most important parts (frame, jumping mat, safety net and safety pad) at the
beginning of every season and on a regular basis. If these checks are not carried out, the use of the trampoline
can become dangerous.
•
Keep this maintenance manual.
•
Check that all bolts and nuts are tight and tighten if necessary.
•
Check that all spring joints are still intact.
•
Check all linings and sharp edges and replace parts if necessary.
•
Outdoor trampolines should be equipped with an anchoring kit to prevent the trampoline from moving in
extreme weather conditions. The safety net and jumping mat should also be removed with extreme weather
conditions.
•
During the winter months, snow and very low temperatures can damage the trampoline. It is recommended
to remove the snow and to store the jumping mat and safety net.
•
Replace the safety net after 2 years of use.
•
Check whether the zip still works correctly.
•
Before moving your trampoline, remove the anchoring if present. Lift the trampoline with a minimum of two
adults.
•
Do not lift the trampoline higher than 5 cm off the ground and slide it to the desired location.
•
Modifications made by the consumer to the original trampoline (for example adding an accessory) must be
carried out according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
•
Check that the jumping mat, edge pad and safety net have no defects. NOTE Sunlight, rain, snow and extre-
me temperatures reduce the strength of these parts over time.
•
Water may not enter the hole dug under the trampoline. You will have to drain the water. During maintenance
regularly clean the underside of the trampoline and the dug hole.
Initially, you need to get a feel for trampolining and understand how much jumping power each jump triggers. The
focus should be on posture and technique until each skill can be performed with ease and control.
Basic skill 1: Stopping
When the user lands on the jumping mat, the knees should be bent until you stop and the jumping power of the
mat is absorbed. For better balance keep the arms stretched out in front of you.
Basic skill 2: Basic jump
Start from a standing position, with feet shoulder-width apart, head up and eyes on the jump mat. Swing your
arms forward and up over your head in a circular motion. Bring legs and feet together when in the air and stretch
your toes. Land back on the mat with feet shoulder-width apart (same as starting position).
IMPORTANT: Refer to the website www.etantrampolines.com for additional exercises. Before starting more
advanced skills, consult a trained trampoline instructor.
