III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove all the packing material and take out the iron with the accessories. Remove any
labels, protective foils or covers from the ironing plate before the first use. Put the iron on
a flat, stable, smooth, clean and heat resistant work surface, out of reach of children and
incapacitated people. Make sure that the power cord is not damaged and that it does not
lead any sharp or hot surfaces. The electric socket must be easily accessible so that the iron
can be easily disconnected from power supply if danger appears. At first switch the iron ON
to maximum temperature and let the iron at least 10 minutes running without water. The iron
may produce slight smoke, which is cased by burning of used lubricants and seals in steam
chamber. This is normal situation and does not form the reason for warranty claim. During
first filling of the tank with operating water it is recommended to release the steam from
whole tank outside the ironed fabric.
