Ensure that HOT (H) and COLD (C) supplies are connected to the
correct inlets. These are clearly marked. Failure to do so could be
dangerous.

The shower unit is for surface mounting only and
must not
be
recessed into any wall or cavity, or tiled up to, as this will inhibit
water drainage from rear of unit.
Electrical
1.
The electrical installation must comply with the “Requirements for
Electrical Installations” commonly referred to as the IEE Wiring
Regulations, or any particular regulations and practices,
specified by the local electricity supply company in force at the
time of installation. The installation should be carried out by an
electrician or contractor who is registered, or is a member of, an
association such as:
National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation and Contracting (NICEIC),

Power supply cable should be 1mm² x 3 core flex.

Power supply must be 220-240 V at 50 Hz. The Isolating switch
must be double pole switched 3 Amp fused with at least 3mm
contact separation gap to each pole.

Do not
turn electrical supply on until all plumbing connections
have been made and the shower unit has been commissioned as
it must not be operated dry.
5.
A 30mA RCD (residual current device) is recommended. This may
be part of the consumer unit or a separate unit.
