Operating the S5
The S5 sends notifications and status to the hub.
3.1.
Notifications
The S5 sends notifications to the hub when:
The S5 detects:
Door/window opening or closing
Vibration or shock near door/window sensor
Motion in room or curtain area
Tampering
The button is pressed for three seconds
The S5’s batteries are inserted
The S5’s batteries are low
3.2.
Supervision
The S5 is a supervised device. The S5 periodically transmits its status to the hub. If after a pre-defined
time the hub does not receive the status, the hub sends a supervision lost message to the monitoring
station.
