Overview
The Essence Smoke Detector (SK2) is a battery-powered, stand-alone, peripheral device for fire
prevention which can communicate with the control panel.
The SK2 is designed for residential units only. The SK2 can be used in a family home or in an apartment
building.
WARNING!
Do not use this alarm in non-residential buildings. Warehouses,
industrial buildings, commercial buildings, and other non-residential buildings
require special fire detection and alarm systems
.
The SK2 is not a substitute for a complete fire detection system for places where many people live or
work, such as hotels, motels, dormitories, hospitals, nursing homes, and group homes of any kind,
even if they once were family homes.
