Operation
The PIR is a passive device. The PIR must perform its detection functionality unhindered and with an
unobstructed view of the coverage area.
5.1.

The LED lights up
Red
whenever motion is detected or a tamper event occurs.
5.2.
Notifications
The PIR sends notifications to the CP for the following events:
A “motion detection” event
The room temperature on the premises passes the configured temperature thresholds.
The battery power for the PIR is low, requiring replacement.
The tamper switch in the PIR is disturbed, registering a tamper event.

when the PIR issues notifications to the CP.
