The floor protector must be 0.5” minimum thickness, non-combustible material
having equal or better insulating value of k=0.84. It must extend beneath the
appliance, and to the front/sides/rear as indicated in Figure 10.
Wood is not to be stored within the clearance area.
If the chimney connector goes horizontally through a wall, the floor protection
must extend under the connector and 50mm (2”) beyond each side.
For Canada: Clearances may only be reduced by means approved by the
regulatory authority.
Due to the hand crafted nature of the products all dimensions are ±2mm (0.1”)
