Setting the display contrast

Select the CONTRAST option in the HS SETTINGS menu tree.

key to confirm.
The Level 4 option is displayed.

keys to select the desired contrast level (1~8).

The handset generates a confirmation tone.
Selecting a Base Station
When the handset is registered to more than a single Base Station, it’s possible
to choose the operating Base Station. Enabling the search mode to AUTO,
ST50 automatically searchs the Base Station with the best radio coverage.

Select the SELECT BASE option in the HS SETTINGS menu tree.
¾
Press the
key to confirm.
The BASE 1 option is displayed.
¾
Press the

keys to select the desired Base Station or
choose the AUTO mode.

Press the
key to confirm.
The SEARCHING X option is displayed, with X the desired Base Station.
The handset generates a confirmation tone when the handset get linked to the
selected Base Station.
Restoring the handset default settings

Select the HS DEFAULTS option in the HS SETTINGS menu tree.
¾
Press the
key to confirm.
The PIN? option is displayed.
¾
Type the Base Station PIN (default 0000).
