Main unit parts and functions
A
STANDBY/ON button
Press this to turn the unit on or put it into standby mode.
When the unit is on, the ring around the button lights.
When the unit is off, it is unlit.
When not using the unit, turn it off.
B
PHONES jacks
Connect headphones plugs (standard 6.3mm (1/4
"
) stereo or
4-pin XLR) here (page 14).
C
CLOCK indicator
This shows the clock synchronization status.
This indicator blinks during clock synchronization and lights
when synchronization completes.
This lights green when the input source is USB or NET and the
unit is operating using the internal clock.
D
Remote control signal receiver
This receives signals from the remote control. When using the
remote control, point the end of it toward this receiver panel.
E
OUTPUT button
Press this to switch which connector outputs analog audio.

*Connectors set using the analog audio output connector set-
ting (LOUT>).

INPUT button
Press this to select the input source. If no digital signal is input
when the input source is digital, the input source name will
blink.

Press this to enter setting mode.

Use these to change parameters when in setting mode.
These can be used for playback and song selection when the
input source is NET or Bluetooth.

Use these also for operations when pairing with another
Bluetooth device (page 21).

When the input source is NET or Bluetooth, press the

ton once to start playback and again to skip to the next track.
During playback, press the
l
button to skip to the previous
track and press and hold it to stop.

Display
This shows various information, including the volume and the
sampling frequency of the input source.

USB drive port (
)
Connect USB flash drives that contain audio files, for example,
here.

This port can only be used to play audio files contained on
the connected USB flash drive or other device.
o
To play audio files on a USB flash drive or other device con-
nected to the USB drive port, set the input source to NET and
use an app for playbackpage 14).
K
VOLUME knob
Use this to adjust the volume.
Turn this knob clockwise to increase the volume and counter-
clockwise to decrease it.
