Cleaning and Maintenance
Turn off the heater and let it cool down before cleaning or maintenance.
Verify proper operation after servicing.
You must keep control areas and circulating air passageways of heater clean.
Inspect these areas of the heater before each use. Have heater inspected yearly by
a qualified service person. Heater may need more frequent cleaning due to
excessive lint from carpeting, bedding material, etc.
CABINET
Exterior
Use a soft cloth dampened with a mild soap and water mixture. Wipe the cabinet to
remove dust.
Air Passageways
Use a vacuum cleaner or pressurized air to clean.
Vent Cap
Use a vacuum cleaner or pressurized air to clean.
Pilot and Burner
Periodically make a visual check of the pilot and burner flames.
