1-27
Peltier failure
• Measure the resistance of the peltier. Refer to Chapter
2.9
• If resistance is beyond the range, replace Peltier, as
Chapter 2.7
Note:
It is not recommended that distributor replace the
peltier, because it is very difficult to control the temperature
accuracy and uniformity. A temperature acquisition device
is necessary for replacing peltier.
1-27
Defective
power supply
(SMPS)
• If all possibility above eliminated, refer to fig 1-28 below,
and measure the port J2 which supply power to Peltier.
• The normal voltage should be around 12 DC.
• If the output voltage out of range, replace the power
supply board.
1-28
Lid does not heat
Damaged fuse
in hot lid
• Measure the resistence of the port, as 1-29
• The sistance should be < 10
Ω
. If not, the fuse or
heating film is defective.
• Check the fuse, refer to 1-30,resistance should be 0
• If resistance is infinite, replace the fuse.
• Remove the old fuse, solder the new fuse.
Note:
Make sure the fuse contact the hot lid surface well
after fixed.
• If the resistance of fuse is 0, see next step.
Resistance should be <10
Ω
