Lenses used in optical equipment may
cause considerable damage through
their Ę"burning glass effect" if used or
stored incorrectly! Ensure that optical
lenses are never left uncovered in the
sunlight
!

Never look at the sun through any optical
equipment!

Protect your freestanding reading lens
against jolts and impact shocks,
moisture and excessive heat. Never
place your freeĆstanding reading lens on
heaters or in the sunlight.
When running on the mains:

Do not use the freeĆstanding reading lens
near receptacles containing water!

Danger of tripping
Ensure that no one can trip over the
connecting cable!

Do not wind the connecting cable around
the freeĆstanding reading lens!

Only install the bulb while the mains plug
is unplugged!
1.
Place the bulb provided into the bulb socket.
2.
Insert the mains plug into a power socket.
3.
Switch the lamp on with the switch.

It is normal for the lamp to become slightly
warm. The plug can be left in the mains
socket even after the lamp has been
switched off.
4.
Adjust the freeĆstanding reading lens to the
appropriate working / reading height by
bending the stand.
Changing the bulb
1.
Pull the mains plug out of the power
socket.
f
Only use bulbs specified in the technical
data.
Replacement bulbs can be purchased from
specialized retailers.
2.
Change the defective bulb for a new one.
