Mount Goal Assembly (#28) and Rim Pad (#27) to
Backboard, as shown in Figure 12, using four bolts
(#29), washer (#26) and four nuts (#24). Tighten
Fasteners finger tight, leave loose enough to level
rim.

Use the Backboard Pads as a Template and mark the hole locations on the backboard frame.

Drill 9/64 pilot holes through aluminum trim and into Steel backboard frame as shown in
Detail C

Note: Cordless drill recommended for screw installation. Do not over tighten screws.
Secure Backboard pads using screws provided (
