SET-UP ASSEMBLY
Counterweight Brackets
The PTO tank has an extra set of brackets on each
side that can be used to add counterweight.
Counterweight can be added to increase rear axle
traction and counterbalance a portion of the front
mounted attachment weight.
Counterweights and retaining pins are not supplied
with the power unit or offered as optional equipment.
The two brackets are designed to each fit two John
Deere 42 lb. or 70 lb. suitcase weights. Other brand
suitcase weights may also be compatible with the
brackets.

IMPORTANT:
The
maximum
allowable
counterweight limit is 140 lbs. (63.5 kg) per side, and
280 lbs. (127 kg) total.
