Battery Charge
The charge control circuit supplies the battery with the correct charge. The
charger is charging the battery with a constant current. To protect the batteries,
the current is reduced in both low and high temperature. Therefore, the charging
time depends on the ambient temperature.
7.1.4
DC Alarms
If either of the output voltages, 14 V or 5 V, is outside normal value, the FPU
will indicate this to the FCB. This failure mode will also be indicated on the
FPU.
7.1.5
Lightning Protection
The FPU is equipped with a lightning protector which protects the unit
according to IEC 801-5.
