To Reach Your Answering Machine.

You can call your Answering Machine at any time.  If you’re calling
from your Omnipoint handset:

> Dial

and press 

F

> When prompted, enter your 

PASSWORD

.

> If you have any messages, your first message will

automatically begin playing.

> Each message will be saved automatically unless you delete it

by pressing

If you are calling from another phone or roaming outside the
Omnipoint coverage area, here’s how to reach your Answering
Machine. 

> Dial

, the 

area code

and the first 

3 digits

of your

Omnipoint phone number, plus 

MAIL

(6245).  Example: 

1-201-757-MAIL

> When prompted, use the keypad to enter your 

MAILBOX

number.  (This is your Omnipoint phone number, including
area code.)

> When you hear your greeting, press

> Enter your 

PASSWORD

using the keypad, and proceed as

described above.

Listening To Your Messages.

When you reach your Answering Machine, press

to play your

messages.

While listening to voice messages on your Answering Machine, you
can control playback by using your handset keys.  Here are the
functions you can perform:  

> To back up and continue the current message, press

> To replay the current message, press

> To pause a few seconds, then continue playing messages,

> To skip ahead and continue the current message, press

> To skip ahead to the end of the current message,

> To hear the Date/Time when the message was recorded,

.  If you do not

delete a message, it will be saved automatically.

> To skip the current message and advance to the next message,

Machine, you will be notified with three short beeps.)
