7 - POSITIONING FOR TREATMENT
Ideal positioning may vary depending on user preference and treatment requirements.
However, for optimal evacuation and protection from spray and bioburden ejection, the
Shield should be located at a distance of 8” to 10” directly above the oral cavity, and at a
downward angle of approximately 20˚ as shown below.
