Maintenance
Maintenance and care play a major role in deciding whether the device
meets the requirements placed on it in a satisfactory manner. The com-
pliance with the specified maintenance intervals and the careful conduct-
ing of the maintenance and care work are therefore absolutely necessary
– see Page 67 ff.
The current operating hours of the parts requiring maintenance can be
displayed in the Presetting mode – see Page 101 ff.
Remount any protective devices (e.g. filter panels) after completing work.
We point out that the device must be subject to repetitive inspections
by our customer service or an approved specialised company every
12 months (from commissioning) to maintain its proper condition!
Calibrating the sensor
The sensor must be recalibrated every 30 working days, so that the us-
er’s skin type can be determined reliably and the UV lamp output opti-
mised accordingly.
Calibration: see separate operating manual
1)
.
Extreme danger!
The device must be deenergised when performing maintenance
work requiring the opening of the device.
See Page 44.
Note:
In the Ergoline Vitamin D3 system, the lamp output is controlled
by switching the UV low voltage lamps. Therefore, the entire UV
low-pressure lamp set must be replaced after the specified op-
erating time. The new UV low-pressure lamps are not operable
until the related chipcard is inserted (see Page 75).
Caution!
Only use
genuine spare parts
of the same type!
The use of other parts voids the CE conformity!
Any liability is excluded in case of damage or injury proven to be
the result of the use of non-genuine spare parts.
