Resetting the “Next Safety Check” Date on a VIO 300D ESU

1.
Turn “On” the VIO 300D.
2.
Select “Return”.
3.
Select “Other Functions”.
4.
Select “Setup”.
5.
Press “More” until the “Service Program” option appears.
6.
Select “Service Program”.
Note: The Password Screen will appear. The password shortcut is the dash symbol, “-“.
7.
Using the buttons on the gray frame to the right of the glass display, press the “Down” button one time.

Note: This action will display the dash symbol in the character field on the glass display.

8.
Press the Confirm/Enter button.
(See Figure 3 above)
This action will display the “VIO 300D Setup” menu.
The unit’s date will be visible on the top of the display.
9.
Press “Date” until the “Year” is highlighted.
10.
Using the buttons on the gray frame to the right of the glass display, press the “Down” button

to change to year to the
previous
year.
11.
Press the Confirm/Enter button.

The selected year will be saved.
12.
Turn “Off” the unit, then “On” again.
13.
Repeat Steps 2 through 9.
14.
Using the buttons on the gray frame to the right of the glass display, press the “Up” button

above)
to change back to the
current
year.
15.
Press the Confirm/Enter button.

The selected year will be saved.
16.
Press “More” several times until “Next Safety Check” is visible.
17.
Select “Next Safety Check”.
18.
Using the buttons on the gray frame to the right of the glass display, press the “Up” button one time.

Observe that the “Year” advances one year from the current year.
19.
Press the Confirm/Enter button.

The selected year will be saved.
