Do not kink the tube or wrap it round the product to which it belongs!
The product may not be reprocessed after use. High temperatures
in particular (e.g. in the autoclave) can affect material properties
and product function making its Normal Use no longer possible.
Do not modify the product. Any modification exempts the
manufacturer from any and all liability.
Should user opt to use any electrode other than the one provided,
please check with the manufacturer for details of its mating parts.
5 How to use
5.1 Check the expiration date
The use-by-date is indicated on the packaging. Do not use this
product if the use-by-date has been exceeded!
5.2 Check and open packaging
Only use this product if the packaging is unopened and
undamaged. If the packaging is opened or damaged, the product is
no longer sterile and must not be used.
Use aseptic techniques when removing the product from the
packaging!
5.3 Check the product
Check the product for damage before use, including all the
insulation.
If damaged, do not use this product!
5.4 Connect up the product
Insert the HF connector of the electrode handle into a monopolar
3-Pin receptacle of the electrosurgical unit.
Connect the hose to the smoke evacuator.
5.5 Using the product
The electrode can be pulled out of the electrode handle.
The electrode handle can be activated via fingerswitch or footswitch.
