6.6 Using the product
Retract the needle completely when introducing into or remov-
ing from the trocar sleeve.
Open the valve for the trocar sleeve completely. Push the distal
end of the instrument carefully through the trocar sleeve. Exer-
cise no force.
Flash-overs, activation in the trocar or without visual control of
the distal end of the instrument can cause unwanted thermal in-
juries to the patient. Therefore, check that the distal end of the
instrument protrudes at least 10 mm out of the trocar before
each activation.
Turn the handle to set three different needle lengths for differ-
ent cutting depths:
• Level 1 = cutting depth 0.8 mm
• Level 2 = cutting depth 1.6 mm
• Level 3 = cutting depth 2.5 mm
To prevent blood and tissue fluid from getting inside the product,
continuously irrigate the product during surgery.
Store the product with the needle retracted only.

Cleaning, disinfection, sterilization
7.1 Safety instructions
Not suitable for manual cleaning and disinfection.
Suitable for precleaning using an ultrasonic bath.
Never use sharp objects for cleaning.
Disinfectants must be rinsed off thoroughly after use.
Maximum air pressure during drying: 2 bar.
Maximum water pressure during rinsing: 2 bar.
