3. After the media is wrapped around the core once, turn the auto takeup reel on,
selecting the appropriate direction as you did for the initial wrap around.
4. Advance the media again for about 5 seconds until there is enough slack to lower
the tension bar. Manually lower it, and the auto takeup controls will power on. The
auto takeup controls will not work unless the tension bar is lowered and manual
controls won't work unless the auto controls are turned o
ff

5. Before printing, perform a nozzle check and if necessary a nozzle cleaning. See
page 15 of this guide for more info on nozzle cleanings and maintenance.
