5.1.4 AWB5100K Adjustment
1. Complete the setting-up for adjustment. (See “Getting Ready for
Adjustment” on page -61)
2. Turn on the color viewer, and set the volume of the color viewer to
the maximum.
3. Leave the color viewer for 10 minutes until brightness settles.
4. Locate the camera within 18 cm from the color viewer and emit the
light to the lens.
5. Press AWB button on the program and select “Yes” on the
confirmation screen. The camera shoots 3 times and RGB data for
each shooting appears on the screen. Also, their average values are
indicated.
6. Press “O.K” button on the screen.

Since this adjustment tends to receive bad influence
from the light from outside or room, avoid any light
as much as you can. It is all right to perform this
adjustment by letting the light from the color viewer
surface touch the camera lens.

Adjustment value 249 - 255 indicate an error.
*249: Have the screen corners or object changed or move
during the adjustment? (Perform adjustment again)
*250, 251: Is there an open circuit in the AGC line?
(Replace CA1 board)
*252:Is there a defect around the mechanical shutter?
(Replace the lens unit)
*253, 254:Is there a part missing around the CCD output level
High CCD, or a short-circuit or open circuit in CCD
OUT? (Replace CA1 board)
*255:Is there a part missing around the CCD output level short
CCD, or a short-circuit or open circuit in CCDOUT?
(Replace CA1 board)
